Mike Wall-Palmer 

Chef Patron

Beginning his culinary career at 17 to Head Chef at 24 in some of the top UK restaurants, Mike has gained experience working his way through the ranks. In it's first year The Anchor Ripley gained Two AA Rosettes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand, as well as being The only Surrey Pub in The Good Food Guide with Mike at the helm.

 

8 years retained and more his passion for creative food regardless of style emanates. Mike can be found working alongside Dave and their team on the creativity of the dishes, and high quality food & service. Whilst his expertise knows no bounds Mike truly shows off with his thoughtful desserts and beautiful plating.

Dave Adams

Chef Patron

Working to an incredible standard with some of the countries best chefs & Michelin Star Restaurants Dave has an unsurmountable talent for cooking. His time spent working in Ripley began a long term friendship with co-owner Mike. Dave's down to earth demeanor keeps the team in high spirits through busy services without compromise. There's no doubt if you've dined with us you've not only had an exceptional meal you've more than likely heard his music travelling from the kitchen through the Anchor Halls as he sings along.

Phoebe Rose 

Restaurant Manager 

With a smile on her face and a bank of food & wine knowledge Phoebe has shown incredible dedication over the two years she has been a part of our team. Previously working in PR, event management and Makeup she's developed a creative knack for curating the perfect experience to suit individual guest needs, something our front of house team hope stands at the fore front of our relaxed style of service. Rest assured she never forgets a face so your bound to receive a familiar welcome and some expert wine advice!

Joy Warwick 

Office Manager 

With most of her career spent in customer facing roles Joy is bound to keep you smiling. You'll likely hear her voice or read her emails when booking a table or arranging your special events.

She's known to go above and beyond for our guests, a natural quality that you simply cannot teach!
